Technical Information

A type of cement that generates low heat of hydration. This product is produced using selected raw materials (GGBS) confirming EN 15167-1 which is following a strict quality control system. This gives a consistent end product to conform finally with the requirements of EN 197-1/2011 and ES 4756-1/2022.

Characteristics:

Produced according to Egyptian standards ES 4756/1-2022 and complies with European specifications EN 197/1-2011.

Applications:

When large cross sections and mass concrete is applied, such as bridges, dams, skyscrapers, and rafts, because it has reduced the heat of hydration (less than 210 KJ/Kg) which reduces cracks.
Where high compressive strength is required
Concrete works subjected to aggressive soils or ground water and where high sulphate exposure is expected, such as in coastal areas and used also in sewage systems.
